Sizing the motor: the three numbers that decide everything
1. Leaf weight, and why the drawing lies
Fabricators quote gate weight optimistically. Always. A 4-metre steel leaf with infill can come in 40% over the drawing once you've added the frame, the cladding, and a coat or two of paint.
